Respiratory Therapist Position Details:
- Location: Niagara Falls, NY
- Schedule: 8-4:30 Mon-Fri, no week-ends or holidays!
- Pay: $30-$40/hr depending on experience

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safe and effective delivery.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate respiratory function and identify treatment needs.
- Manage airway interventions, including intubation and extubation, in critical care settings.
- Provide respiratory therapy for patients with chronic conditions, including geriatrics and those requiring outpatient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level II Trauma Center to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary based on clinical findings.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory health, treatment options, and home care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Respiratory Therapist Experience:
- NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist
- Proficient in airway management techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Strong knowledge of pulmonary physiology and its application in patient assessment.
- Experience working in outpatient settings is a plus.
- Prior involvement in emergency medicine scenarios is advantageous.
