We are looking for a dynamic and innovative leader to develop and manage our sales force in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and ambitious team member driven to help others reach their maximum sales potential.

Compensation:

$125,000 - $175,000

Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop new and current sales talent, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed on a continuous basis
  • Provide guidance to individual sales representatives on processes and best practices to improve their performance and stay in alignment with the company’s core values
  • Lead by example in everyday practices that influence and impact the sales force while setting the tone for the atmosphere that motivates and encourages teamwork
  • Commitment to building and maintaining a team that functions in unison with the overall vision
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new products or services to drive growth and revenue for the residential division
  • Review and refine the current product portfolio to meet changing market conditions or customer needs
  • Manage the pricing structure of products and services to meet profitability targets and market conditions
  • Proven ability to increase margins
  • Comprehend complex details of construction projects
  • Achieve sales volume targets
  • Experience with business management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Experience with principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Manage the selection of showroom product displays according to changing customer needs
  • Develop packaged sales programs for large accounts, such as home builders
  • Understand how to successfully promote products
  • Drive showroom and website retail sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, customers, partners, and vendors
  • Experience with resolving difficult customer or sales scenarios
  • Develop and document sales-related processes
  • Protect the existing business and customer base and execute according to the overall Company vision

  • 5+ years of experience managing a sales team with a proven track record of employee development
  • 5+ years of experience driving sales with a proven track record of increasing department revenue
  • Self-starter with the ability to drive success within those under their leadership
  • Construction experience is a plus in understanding glass as a niche industry
  • Valid authorization to work in the US
  • Clean driving record
