Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Work Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts | 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Contract

Available Shifts

• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Weekends and holidays may be required.

Compensation

• Travelers: $70/hour

• Local Candidates: $60/hour

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Elmhurst, NY is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to join the Diagnostic Radiology department.

The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with clinical protocols in an acute care environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer

• Acute care experience preferred

• Ability to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining patient safety and imaging quality standards.

Education Requirements

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program

  • Military training programs are acceptable if applicable.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT Certification – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License

Additional Information

• In-person interview required

• Training: 2 weeks

  • Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Includes EPIC system training
