Job Description
Our client, a fast-growing, mid-size manufacturing organization based in San Francisco, is seeking a high-potential Operations Manager to join its team. This company operates in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where adaptability, initiative, and a willingness to learn are key to success.
The Operations Manager will play a vital role in supporting and improving day-to-day production operations, while also contributing to the implementation and adoption of new systems and technologies across the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily production operations to ensure efficiency and product quality
- Assist with the evaluation, integration, and ongoing improvement of internal IT systems (e.g., ERP, inventory, and order management systems)
- Track and analyze key operational metrics to support data-informed decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, product, and engineering, to align operations with business objectives
- Identify process inefficiencies and assist in implementing solutions that enhance workflow and productivity
- Contribute to inventory management, logistics coordination, and fulfillment processes as needed
- Take a hands-on approach to addressing operational challenges and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in operations, systems, or production support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated initiative and a strong work ethic in fast-moving or ambiguous environments
