We are seeking a dependable and experienced HR Specialist / Payroll Administrator to join our team and assist with payroll, human resources, and daily administrative financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Prepare and issue checks as needed
- Coordinate with banks regarding company transactions and accounts
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee files
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Handle confidential employee and financial information with professionalism and discretion
- Support office administration and accounting-related tasks
- Communicate with employees regarding payroll and HR-related questions
- Assist management with reporting and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HR, payroll, or office administration experience preferred
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and general office procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll/accounting software
- SHRM certification is a plus
