Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A special education teaching position is available for the uping school year in a K-12 school located in Lebanon, PA. This contract opportunity serves students across grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, providing specialized instruction tailored to meet diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to support student learning and success
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive education
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid special education teaching certification (non-emergency certified candidates will not be considered)
  • Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices in special education and individualized instruction
  • Strong munication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records
