Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. shifts
  • Weekend rotation: every other
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday coverage: 75% requirement
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

On this travel assignment, you'll work between the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Acute Care units, gaining insight from diverse clinical teams and advanced leaders in pediatric medicine. With a strong focus on education and safety, this team-oriented environment positions you to sharpen your skills in acute pediatric care and complex patient management—valuable additions to any resume.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure
  • Minimum 1 year in pediatric acute care or pediatric hem/oncology (as applicable)
  • BLS (required), PALS preferred
  • Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking
  • Proficient with central line management and chemotherapy administration
  • EMR experience (Epic preferred)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, monitoring a wide range of pediatric conditions including leukemia, solid tumors, sickle cell, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, and behavioral overlays
  • Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5
  • Administer medications, perform key assessments, and support multidisciplinary care plans
  • Collaborate with an extensive support team (CNA, phlebotomy, RT, intensivist, hospitalist, and resource nurse) to achieve optimal patient outcomes
