Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is needed to support students in grades K-3 with moderate to severe needs in a school setting located in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse caseload and receive supervision either on-site or virtually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with moderate to severe behavioral needs
- Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive outcomes for students
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance professional skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in grades K-3
- Ability to manage moderate to severe behavioral challenges effectively and compassionately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to receive supervision virtually or on-site as required
