Title: Warehouse coordinator
Pay Rate: $17/HR
Location: 550 New Commerce BLVD Wilkes-Barre, PA
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
This is a very repetitive job and candidate will be on their feet all day
This is very sensitive role and much care needs to be taken
Client is Adidas, so no competitive brands allowed onsite
Resource's typical working day:
Battery changing
Swapping battery from pallet jack to charging port and back
Battery maintenance
Driving forklifts
Licenses/Certifications:
Forklift certified required
Pit trained
Must Have Skills:
Fork lift experience
Must be able to be on their feet all day
PPE required - provided by client
Nice to have skills:
Bailer experience
HVAC experience
Mechanical experience
Electrical experience
Years of Experience:
2-3 years
Education
h.s. diploma, GED, trade school preferred
Software skills:
Basic computer skills preferred
- Microsoft Office
Interview Process:
1 round, virtual (Teams) with H.M.
About the Role:
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll provide service and support to the warehouse by handling shipping and receiving tasks.. This job is part of the Supply Chain function. They are responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain.
What You’ll Do:
•Assist with loading and unloading merchandise or material from cars or trucks.
•Help pack and unpack shipments. This includes processing, scanning, and shelving parts, pulling orders, and entering data into the inventory control systems.
•Maintain clean and safe working environments. Sweep and mop floors.
•Assist with general maintenance including light painting, carpentry, and basic repairs of tools.
•Maintain upkeep of stockroom and other storage areas and merge existing stock to improve space usage.
•Perform labeling of materials under required procedures.
•Audit warehouse inventory reports using physical checks to ensure accurate system accounting.
•Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
•Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail
•Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
