Job DescriptionMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating and air-conditioning equipment. Install heating and air-conditioning equipment and accessories. Maintain inventory of necessary materials and equipment stocked on vehicle. Document time and materials for jobs. Educate clients on equipment and IAQ accessories. Collect payments from customers for work performed. Engage customers in difficult conversations. Other duties as needed.
RequirementsGreat customer service skills, valid driver’s license, mechanical knowledge, problem solving, motivated and able to work independently, great written and oral communication, able to lift 75 pounds, and able to climb ladders.
Standard working conditions are outdoors and on construction sites, rooftops, and inside residential homes. Expected to work in extreme weather conditions regularly. Outdoors, high heights, on ladders, in snow and rain and during winter storms and heat advisories. EPA certification. Field experience or associate degree preferred.
The ideal candidate is a "jack of all trades" who understands how to troubleshoot situations in the field.
