A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position spans the full academic year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and overall development of a diverse student population.
Location: Andover, Minnesota
Duration: Full academic year (Non-summer)
Setting: K-12 educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student development and adjust interventions accordingly
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in an educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children and adolescents
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
