Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunity for two experienced School Psychologists to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite position begins August 3, 2026, and continues through June 7, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. Enjoy a balanced schedule with options of 8:50 am to 3:30 pm or 7:30 am to 2:20 pm, allowing flexibility to fit your lifestyle while making a meaningful difference in students' lives throughout the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (required)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment, consultation, and behavioral intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and administrators
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseload needs district-wide
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, psychoeducational evaluations, and progress monitoring for students across all grade levels
- Provide guidance and recommendations for individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review student support plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
