Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position requires a certified Special Education Teacher with experience working across various grade levels including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The role is based in Holton, KS, within a school setting and operates under a contract from the start date as soon as possible through the end of the current school year. The position entails at least 30 hours per week over five days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in special education programs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and specialists.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher License is required.
• Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
