Job Summary\n\nThe Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in the delivery of patient care.\n\nPlans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.\n\nIdentifies patient needs and determines priorities of care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.\n\nDevelops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments for assigned patients.\n\nInitiates assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework.\n\nPerforms therapeutic nursing interventions.\n\nManages and coordinates patient care.\n\nDocuments care in accordance with standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.\n\nAdvocates for evidence-based care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.\n\nProvides patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.\n\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
