Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. You will work from diagrams and drawings, conduct continuity checks, and may perform quality inspections and prototype rework.
Shift available on both 1/2nd shifts with differentials!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
- Work from diagrams, drawings, and initial layouts to complete assemblies
- Use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws as required
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies
- Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification
- 1–3 years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components
- 1–3 years in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in a manufacturing setting
- 5+ years of experience in hand soldering, including inspection, rework/repair, and use of various soldering tools and equipment
- Ability to understand and interpret technical documents, diagrams, and drawings
- MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software experience
- Microsoft 365 experience
