Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations by overseeing accounting processes, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic business objectives. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, improving efficiencies, and providing financial insight that helps drive informed decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management
- Manage treasury functions, payroll processing (for leadership review), and monthly/quarterly tax filings
- Support financial reporting, including preparation and review of financial statements
- Assist with compliance audits and ensure adherence to internal and external standards
- Maintain and manage customer data within accounting systems, including billing and new customer setup
- Partner with leadership to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support business objectives
- Travel to the Central Kentucky office to support accounting functions
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership of work
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
