Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Willimantic, CT 06226. This is 12 weeks of temp to hire role, a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
- Location: Willimantic, CT 06226
- Contract: 12 Weeks with possible extension
- Unit: Detox
- Shift Time: Sunday-Thursday (12pm-830pm)
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours
- Locals' Pay range: $19 - $24/hour
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.

Responsibilities:
- Room patients, take vitals, and document medical histories.
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
- Perform EKGs, administer injections, and collect lab specimens.
- Manage prescription refills and prior authorizations.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
Qualifications:
- Required Education - Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic Certification
- BLS-AHA required
- 1 year experience required
- Experience in Behavioral health or addiction medicine strongly preferred.
- EPIC exp highly preferred.
