Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Schedule: Full-Time Nights - 36 hours per week

Incentive: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Offered

Position Summary:

This role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory care to patients as per physician directives. You will collaborate with physicians to assess the effectiveness of therapies and serve as a knowledgeable resource for both medical staff and nursing teams regarding respiratory care. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of a CoArc accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Must fulfill state licensing criteria and possess a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Must hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those working in the Emergency Room, PALS certification is required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and grip weights up to 50 lbs, pinch up to 10 lbs, and perform minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Equipment: Proficient use of all relevant respiratory care equipment.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in critical care settings is advantageous.
