We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bathtub Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with painting and refinishing techniques, as well as a solid understanding of basic construction practices. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming bathtubs through professional hand-rolling and coating applications, delivering smooth, high-quality finishes that exceed client expectations. You’ll work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and with exceptional attention to detail.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint using various methods including hand tools to achieve a smooth finish.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, plastering, and fixture installation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards on construction sites while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting techniques.
- Knowledge of plastering and caulking
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
- Attention to detail – able to achieve a smooth, even finish without streaks or bubbles
- Time management – ability to complete jobs efficiently and meet schedule deadlines
- Manual dexterity – steady hand and precision when applying coatings to small or curved surfaces
- Problem-solving skills – able to identify and fix imperfections or surface issues
- Reliability and work ethic – shows up on time, maintains a clean workspace, and takes pride in quality work
- Customer service skills – communicates politely and professionally with clients or team members
- Experience is a plus, but not a dealbreaker — we’ll provide all the training you need.
- Ability and willingness to train others on proper techniques and procedures.
