Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers an opportunity to support students with special needs in various educational settings ranging from early childhood through high school grades. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive learning environment within self-contained special education classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in special education settings, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage student behaviors effectively while simultaneously achieving curriculum goals.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with parents, teachers, and staff.
• Support social and academic development in students with disabilities.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Educators Certificate is required: K-6 for elementary level positions or K-12 for middle and high school placements.
• Experience working in ESE/self-contained classrooms is essential.
• Proficiency and experience with the IEP and BIP process.
• Strong classroom management skills paired with the ability to meet curriculum objectives.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families.
