Subcontractor Crews Wanted
Residential Renovation & Design-Build Projects | Washington, DC
Blue Star Design Build is a well-established residential design-build firm in Washington, DC. We're expanding our project pipeline and are actively looking to partner with reliable, professional subcontractor crews for ongoing work.
This is long-term, consistent work - not for individual laborers and one-off side jobs
Bonus: Most of our projects are unoccupied (full-home remodels and ground-up builds), allowing for efficient scheduling and streamlined workflows.
Trades We're Actively Hiring
- Framing
- Mechanical (HVAC)
- Electric
- Plumbing
(Multi-trade crews strongly encouraged to apply.)
What We're Looking For
- Licensed & insured (as required for your trade)
- Proven 3-5+ years of residential renovation experience
- Ability to provide detailed, consistent scopes of work and quotes
- Strong planning mindset - we prefer to lock in subcontractors well in advance to avoid last-minute rush situations
- Ability to meet schedules and follow construction documents
- Professional communication with Project Managers and site leads
- Pride in workmanship - no-callback mentality
You must already have:
- An established crew
- A foreman or crew lead
- Experience running full scopes (not punch-only work)
