Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A sterile pounding pharmacy in Oklahoma City is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to provide leadership, oversight, and regulatory pliance for their facility. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient production of pounded sterile medications and supporting both staff and patient care. The position is available immediately due to the current PICs uping departure.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities

Oversee sterile pounding operations and ensure pliance with USP standards

Lead regulatory and quality assurance initiatives for the facility

Maintain environmental and facility control for cleanroom and pounding areas

Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for pharmacy staff

Ensure proper documentation and adherence to all policies and procedures

Support patients and healthcare providers regarding pounded medication needs
Ideal Candidate
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
-
Active pharmacist license in good standing (multi-state licensure a plus)

Experience in sterile pounding preferred, though training is available

Knowledge of USP aseptic technique, cleanroom operations, and sterility principles

Strong understanding of pharmacology, dosage calculations, contamination prevention, and patient safety

Excellent leadership, munication, and organizational skills
