A contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a school setting located in Roseville, CA. This role focuses on supporting students' occupational therapy needs under the guidance of a licensed occupational therapist, contributing to their development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans designed by the supervising therapist
- Assist students in developing fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing abilities
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings and consultations with educators and families
- Support adaptive equipment use and modifications within the classroom environment
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and clinical guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in pediatric or educational settings is preferred
