Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for advanced interventional procedures, with Epic experience required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an interventional radiology unit caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology, vascular, and special procedures
  • Common procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, nephrostomy, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, IVC filter placement, vertebroplasty, TIPS, and complex central venous access
  • Utilize specialized equipment including Siemens ICONO Biplane and Siemens Pheno
  • Experience required with C-arm, hybrid OR environments, and fluoroscopy
  • Shift schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Call requirement is one weekend per month and 4-5 weekday evenings per month on a rotating basis
  • No floating required between units
  • Duties include procedure prep, room circulation, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field, vascular closure, and patient monitoring
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with rapid response and isolation precaution protocols
  • Work attire is blue scrubs, provided by facility
  • Position requires working with peds, adult, and geriatric patient groups
  • Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
  • Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a local rate
  • Candidates with community, teaching, trauma level I/II or LTAC hospital experience are preferred

\n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology technologist experience required
  • Current ARRT and BLS certifications required; ARRT VI preferred
  • Valid New Hampshire state license required if applicable
  • Only AHA or Red Cross certifications accepted
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Skills in angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, advanced venous access, and equipment setup necessary
  • Prior experience using Siemens interventional equipment preferred
  • Applicants must provide professional references for consideration
  • Not open to first-time travelers
  • Candidates must not have prior employment with any SolutionHealth facilities
