Job Description
The Assembly Line Worker is responsible for assembling, reworking, and reassembling products as specified by applicable documentation. This role involves verifying the accuracy of instruction documents, checking work for quality and conformance to specifications, and using a computer for data entry and input of serial numbers into the mainframe. Additional duties include packaging parts into kits for shipping, labeling and packaging products including manuals and accessories, and informing supervisors or leads of work-related problems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, rework, and/or reassemble products as specified on applicable documentation.
- Verify accuracy of instruction documents such as schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of material.
- Check work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
- Use a computer for data entry and input of serial numbers into the mainframe.
- Package parts into kits for shipping.
- Label and package products including manuals and accessories.
- Inform supervisor or lead of work-related problems.
- Perform testing activities including current checks, burn-ins, and operation of Automated Test Equipment.
- Verify assemblies and subassemblies against applicable documentation.
- Verify Part Number, Revision Level, and Quantity received.
- Conduct routine electrical tests, sorting failed assemblies from passed assemblies.
- Record test data and results.
- Inform supervisor or lead of discrepancies discovered.
Essential Skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Good manual dexterity, especially with small parts.
- High attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level mechanical aptitude.
- Interest in electronics.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing floor built in 2018. Employees adhere to a manufacturing casual dress code, wearing provided coats and glasses. The facility operates with shifts starting at 5am for the first shift and from 2:30pm to 11:00pm for the second shift. The break room includes multiple microwaves and refrigerators, self-serve kiosks for food and snacks, with both inside and outside seating options and multiple TVs on the floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.
