Job DescriptionIf you have ever thought about working in treatment or if you currently work in treatment but want to move forward in your career as a case manager, come join us. We are looking to add on to our already amazing team in Murray. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of recovery principles in both a substance use and mental health fashion, be self driven and self motivated, a positive attitude and a team player. We are willing to train if you have any relevant knowledge or experience.
DUTIES:
- Maintains documentation of all Case management sessions, substance abuse services and other services.
- Supervises program participants with medication compliance and drug screening as needed.
- Provides crisis intervention and facilitates conflict resolution among the program participants.
- Chaperons group sponsored trips and social functions, develops and maintains skills through seminars, workshops or other forms of related training/education.
- Participates in all team and staff meetings, community meetings and supervision/consultation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year sobriety.
- Pass a background check
- Must Have a Valid Drivers License & clean driving record.
- Current driver license and a driving record acceptable to SRC’s insurance carrier.
- Know and comply confidentiality laws, program policies and documentation guidelines and other related state, federal regulations.
- Current case management skills including: referrals, family and community education, documentation, case management and conducting/facilitating individual case management, multi-cultural and social-economic issues and professional and ethical responsibilities.
- Basic advocacy skills.
- Oral and written communication and PC skills.
- Preferred certified Peer support, but not required
- Ability to work varied hours.
- Use good judgment to make decisions within policies and practices.
