Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Sioux City, IA

Employment Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2277 - $2744 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

As an essential part of the multidisciplinary team, you will apply your clinical expertise to provide care in a vibrant Labor and Delivery environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional nursing care to laboring mothers and their newborns
• Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Assisting in Post-Partum units as required, up to 1-2 shifts per week
• Documenting patient information using the EPIC EMR system

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Current Iowa RN license
• Certification in BLS and ACLS from AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross
• Fetal monitoring certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
• Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Experience in high-risk and high-acuity cases in a busy delivery center (e.g., 100+ deliveries/month)
• Willingness to float to Post-Partum units
