Essential Functions

• Operate mammography equipment and perform various related procedures.
• Develop and evaluate films for technical quality, including density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Educate patients about the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Maintain records and files, and ensure equipment is clean and properly adjusted.
• Utilize standard concepts, practices, and procedures in your daily tasks.
• Plan and accomplish goals based on your experience and judgment.
• Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Current Radiology and Mammography license in the state
• Valid hands-on CPR certification

Physical Demands

This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, and frequent standing and walking.

Dress Attire

Business casual or scrubs, depending on the department.
