We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Coordinator to join our team in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, ensuring that each one is delivered seamlessly and exceeds client expectations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate logistics for corporate, promotional, and private events
Communicate with clients to understand event goals, expectations, and timelines
Source and manage vendors, venues, and suppliers
Monitor budgets and manage event expenses
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
Collaborate with marketing, design, and operations teams for event support
Conduct post-event evaluations and compile reports for improvement
Maintain detailed records and documentation of all events
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning tools
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
