Position Summary: Data Center Commercial Construction Site Manager – San Jose, CA

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Owner’s Representative / Construction Site Managerto serve as the client’s trusted advocate throughout the delivery of data center projects. This role requires a detail-oriented leader capable of managing schedules, budgets, contractors, and risk while ensuring adherence to design intent, technical specifications, and safety standards. The position requires 90% + on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Act as the primary point of contact between the owner/client and the project team.

· Oversee all phases of data center construction from pre-construction planning through commissioning.

· Ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.

· Facilitate coordination among architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.

· Monitor construction activities to ensure quality control, code compliance, and safety protocols.

· Review and manage RFI responses, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.

· Track project risks and lead mitigation strategies.

· Support transition to operations, including documentation and commissioning oversight.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

· Experience in mission-critical, MEP Infrastructure and/ or large-scale commercial construction projects.

· Proven experience managing data center builds or similar high-availability infrastructure projects.

· Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in critical facilities.

· PMP, CCM, PE, or equivalent certification preferred.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Range

$150k +

Availability to begin ASAP required.
