We are looking for a driven and skilled Area Director of Sales to lead sales efforts at the Candlewood Suites St Charles. In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, work to exceed revenue goals, and foster meaningful client relationships that align with our mission to raise the bar on relationships, reputation, and returns in hospitality.

Compensation:
$75,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:
- Engage with existing accounts regularly and manage ongoing sales opportunities through a CRM system.
- Lead the sales team in executing regional strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and community partners to drive business growth.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads across all market segments and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Conduct site inspections and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
- Track and evaluate sales performance, identifying trends and adjusting strategies to maximize revenue.
- Proactively solicit new extended stay business
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication abilities (both verbal and written).
