Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Pay Rate: $75 – $78 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Administer medications and monitor patient responses
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
-
Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
-
Develop and implement individualized care plans
-
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
-
Provide guidance and support to ancillary staff
-
Function in a charge nurse role when required
-
Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics systems
-
Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives
-
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
-
Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service

Support patient and family education
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
-
At least 1 year of ER travel experience required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
-
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
-
Strong skills in IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring

Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Preferred Qualifications

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
-
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
-
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
-
De-escalation certification
