As a Manufacturing Engineer IV, you will lead clinical build lines and manage process development deliverables, such as process validation documentation. This role supports commercialization activities and requires onsite presence.
Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure project success.
- Consistently generate innovative and unique solutions to meet department goals.
- Complete complex engineering work and contribute to new product development teams and product support, including technology development, test of materials or products, preparation of specifications, Six Sigma process study, process improvements, and report preparation.
- Select process improvement techniques to solve complex problems and make sound equipment and process recommendations.
- Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from complex test results.
- Design and prepare complex reports and communicate results to the technical community.
- Design and coordinate complex engineering tests and experiments.
- Coordinate, manage, and document project goals and progress, recommending appropriate revisions.
- Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
- Complete and manage complex Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERAs).
- Lead cross-functional project teams.
- Lead in the identification, implementation, and management of production goals.
- Train, develop, and/or provide work direction to operators, technicians, and engineers.
- Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience in engineering.
- BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience in process engineering and medical devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of electropolishing.
- Experience with Keyence and Sensofar measurement technology.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role that requires collaboration with various departments to ensure the success of complex projects. The work environment involves managing and leading cross-functional project teams, coordinating engineering tests and experiments, and ensuring compliance with quality systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Maple Grove, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
