PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Knoxville TN 37921– 100% On-site
- Payrate: $24.45/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 40 hours per week
- Weekdays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Weekends: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Technician willsupport a leading healthcare organization in Knoxville. This role offers full-time hours, hands-on pharmacy experience, and the opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
- Assist Billing Supervisor with data entry for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement
- Prepackage medications for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
- Support pharmacists with final checking of filled prescriptions, including medication stating, packaging, and timely delivery
- Maintain proper inventory practices, including receiving and rotating stock, posting lot numbers/expiration dates, and assisting with physical counts
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring proper equipment calibration and compliance with safety standards
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Previous pharmacy technician experience required.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license or certification in Tennessee preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
