The Role: Expert Leadership in the Field
We are looking for a high-caliber Construction Supervisor to lead our fiber broadband crews in Tri-Parish and Central Louisiana areas. This isn't just a "desk job"its a role for a proactive leader who thrives on-site, possesses a "whatever it takes" attitude, and has the technical grit to manage complex underground utility projects to completion.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Deep Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation, underground utility work, and broadband construction (specifically drilling, plowing, and best-in-class fiber installation practices).
- Strategic Project Oversight: Proven ability to manage teams, high-value resources, and projects effectively within tight timelines.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong mastery of fiber optic network maintenance, DLC systems, fiber hubs, and power installations.
- The "Ideal" Professional: You are someone who is naturally driven to exceed goals, possesses the emotional intelligence to lead diverse teams with respect, and prioritizes the teams collective success over personal ego.
- Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent; valid drivers license with a clean record is required. CDL, preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Elite Crew Management: Supervise construction crews, fostering a culture where safety is instinctive and excellence is the standard.
- Operational Excellence: Drive daily productivity for the installation and repair of our fiber network, ensuring every foot of cable meets our rigorous quality standards.
- Hands-On Leadership: You lead by example. Whether it's troubleshooting a complex site issue or assisting with site cleanliness and traffic control, you are never "too big" for the task at hand.
- Accountability: Accurately document materials, equipment, and progress, ensuring all company policies are enforced on-site.
Schedule & Compensation
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000+ per year (Positioned competitively within the local market; starting salary is commensurate with your level of expertise).
- Hours: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week, with the flexibility to work 35 hours weekly upon approval to maintain work/life balance.
- Travel: Frequent daily travel across our geographic footprint and overtime for emergency repairs are required.
