Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles for critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer and document prescribed medications accurately, monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Provide bedside care and initiate patient education on post-treatment needs.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab reports.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and respond quickly to life-saving situations.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and oxygen pumps.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing, carrying out corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely patient care documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license valid in the state or Nurse Licensure Compact (with required verifications).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Proven critical care experience in a hospital ICU or CCU setting.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
