Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department RN experience in a hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Active nursing license required at time of submission
- Strong adaptability, communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to outstanding patient care
- Preferred: Proficiency in EKG interpretation; additional certifications (MOAB)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care in a 25-bed emergency department with 4 secure psychiatric holds and 8 hallway beds
- Assess, triage, and stabilize a broad range of conditions: trauma, stroke, cardiac events, DKA, sepsis, and psychiatric emergencies
- Initiate protocols for labs, EKG, radiology, and medication under department guidelines
- Operate advanced medical and monitoring equipment
- Support a collaborative, patient-focused environment and ensure seamless transitions in care
