Hire Connections is working with a rapidly growing medical device company located in the DTC area in search of a highly motivated Shipping Clerk to join their team! This individual will be working in a fast-paced environment with the responsibility of quickly and accurately picking merchandise for customer orders and packaging the merchandise for shipment!
Required Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- General computer skills
- Experience using various software for shipping labels
- Must be able to lift/and or move packages up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read fine print/text associated with inventory
- Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time
Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves with new product in FIFO order
- Pull product from shelves according to picking ticket for customer orders
- Verify product lot numbers
- Utilize scanners and scan software for order processing
- Pack product for shipment
- Type shipping information into FedEx and UPS computer systems
- Maintain reports for expiration dates of products
- Package items needed for trade shows
- Ship show order packages in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Schedule:
Full Time
