Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support parentally placed private school students within the K-12 age range in the Jacksonville area. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026, with a schedule of approximately three days per week (specific hours to be determined). Services will be provided primarily through a flexible mix of in-person and virtual settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in multidisciplinary referral and eligibility meetings to assess students needs.
- Assist teams and parents in interpreting evaluation results and determining appropriate evaluations.
- Support IEP development when applicable.
- Conduct evaluations scheduled at the district office, minimizing travel to private schools.
- Manage caseload responsibilities across multiple schools if providing virtual services.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills to balance in-person evaluations and virtual meetings.
- Flexibility to work on-site at district offices and remotely as needed.
