Role Overview


The Finance Manager will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, accounting coordination, and regulatory-facing finance support for Gate US. This role is execution-focused, working closely with compliance, legal, external accountants, and auditors.


Key Responsibilities


Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for Gate US
  • Coordinate bookkeeping, month-end and year-end close
  • Review GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Manage AP/AR, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring
  • Support payroll, contractor payments, and expense reimbursement processes


Regulatory & Compliance Support

Serve as a finance / accounting point of contact for regulators (e.g., NFA, CFTC), auditors, and external advisors

Support regulatory filings involving financial or accounting information

Assist with net capital calculations, financial disclosures, and regulatory reporting as required

Coordinate with Compliance and Legal on audits, examinations, and regulatory inquiries


External Vendor & Audit Coordination

  • Liaise with external accounting firms, tax advisors, and auditors
  • Support annual audits, tax filings, and ad hoc financial reviews
  • Maintain organized financial records and audit-ready documentation



Process & Controls

  • Help establish and improve internal financial controls and workflows
  • Support finance-related policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations


Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA preferred (strongly)
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Experience with U.S. entities and U.S. accounting standards (US GAAP)
  • Experience working with external auditors and accounting firms


Preferred

  • Experience in fintech, crypto, trading platforms, or financial services
  • Experience supporting regulatory filings (NFA, CFTC, SEC, or similar)
  • Experience with multi-entity or cross-border group structures
  • Prior experience in startups or fast-growing companies
