Job Summary
An established and growing organization is seeking an entry‑level Customer Service Representative to join a fast‑paced, client‑facing team in Enfield, CT. In this temp‑to‑hire role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, spending most of your day on the phone handling inquiries, processing requests, and coordinating closely with internal teams.
This position is well‑suited for someone who enjoys frequent customer interaction, thrives in a high‑volume environment, and is eager to build a long‑term career within a service‑driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, building professional and reliable working relationships
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls throughout the day, addressing client questions, requests, and updates in a courteous and efficient manner
- Accurately process and enter client information into internal systems, maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Coordinate order details, timelines, and schedules with internal production and operations teams to ensure client needs are met
- Manage recurring client requests while maintaining consistency, accuracy, and professionalism
- Communicate clearly and effectively across phone, email, and internal communication channels
- Provide general administrative and customer support to assist with day‑to‑day operations
- Learn and navigate internal systems and tools to support client service and workflow efficiency
- Multitask effectively by balancing phone calls, data entry, and coordination responsibilities in a busy office environment
Essential Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone for the majority of the workday
- Customer service experience or a strong customer‑focused mindset
- Ability to manage a repetitive, high‑volume workload while maintaining accuracy
- Detail‑oriented with solid organizational and time‑management skills
- Comfortable learning and using new systems and office technology
- Professional, articulate, and service‑oriented demeanor
- Ability to work on‑site in Enfield, CT in a fast‑paced office setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with data entry or administrative support in an office environment
- Experience coordinating with internal teams, operations, or production departments
- Interest in developing long‑term career growth in a customer service or client‑facing role
- Ability to handle recurring client interactions with patience, consistency, and professionalism
Work Environment
This role is based fully on‑site in Enfield, CT within a high‑volume, service‑oriented office environment. The Customer Service Representative works closely with a collaborative client‑focused team and spends much of the day on the phone and working within internal systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enfield, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
