A part-time Physical Therapist position is available for a contract engagement in Chimayo, NM, with work responsibilities spanning two campuses located in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized therapy services within an educational setting, delivering essential support to students' physical development and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment reports
- Manage caseload effectively across two campuses, ensuring consistent therapy services
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in school-based therapy services
- Familiarity with healthcare-related physical therapy practices is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and schedules
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism across multiple locations
- Commitment to supporting student progress through tailored therapeutic interventions
Location:
- Chimayo, New Mexico, with duties performed on campuses in Albuquerque and Santa Fe
Hours and Schedule:
- Part-time position requiring 20 to 25 hours per week, inclusive of direct therapy and paperwork
- Contract period from ASAP start date through the end of the current school year
