Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Event Specialist (Event Coordinator / Event Project Manager) to join our client’s team, one of the US’s largest Security companies.

Qualification:

2-3 years of event planning/project management experience.
Located in Miami, so they can be on-site to assist with event coordination of local events. Also, come into the Boca Raton office periodically.
40 hours a week.
This is a three-month contract role with a possibility to extend based on budget.
Must be available to work most, if not all, weekends as needed..
Work 3-4 days during the work week to allow 2 days off a week, which will vary based on the local event schedule (since weekends are a requirement).

Responsibilities:

Known Projects (the below work descriptions are preliminary and subject to change):
Assist with corporate event logistics and operations:
Research project based on event needs, including venues, transportation, swag, menus, and tactical event needs.
Coordinate and distribute various reporting needs.
Support the event document review process
Assist with budget tracking
Assist with promo item ordering and management
Assist with invoice management
Assist with post-event reporting
Support activation in Miami:
Partner with team members on pre-activation coordination
Assist with on-site activation/event operations in Miami (some weekends required)
Oversee weekly reporting and promo inventory management
The location of the work will be a mix – some weekend work (Sat/Sun) during select sporting events in Miami. Some Boca Raton office work during the work week, including a possibility of some remote work. The contractor doesn’t necessarily need to live in Miami proper, but be okay driving there on a regular basis (the closer the better). Must also be OK driving to Boca Raton.
