Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School-based Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available to serve students from preschool through 12th grade in the Citrus Heights area. This contract role spans the full 2025-2026 school year and offers flexible full-time or part-time caseload options. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about supporting communication development in diverse school-aged populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or certification.
  • Experience working with preschool to 12th-grade students within educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapeutic strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads efficiently and adapt therapy to individual student needs.
