- Work closely with Enterprise Risk Management and Data Science on catastrophe modeling and interpretation as well as pricing model building and development.
- Assist in providing information and analysis to key external stakeholders (investors, reinsurers, auditors).
- Lead strategy in the design and development of next-generation insurance products and internal modeling.
- Build a strategic roadmap for enhancements to actuarial discipline and practice.
- Implement new pricing and reserving tools and look to implement AI-based improvements to actuarial processes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in similar work. ACAS or FCAS is required for this position.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with next-gen actuarial reserving and pricing tools (e.g., Akur8, ResQ, etc.) and experience in implementation preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. A track record of executive-level communication and ‘storytelling’ is highly preferred.
- Entrepreneurial Drive / Intellectual Curiosity: Proven ability to achieve ambitious goals in an innovative and demanding environment. Ability to look at standard actuarial challenges in novel ways.
- Strategic Thinking: Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to develop strategies informed by research, data, and industry trends.
