Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaping Foreman to lead a crew responsible for maintaining commercial properties in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will display the ability to lead a crew, a solid understanding of landscaping maintenance, and the ability to coordinate and work with other teams as needed. This role requires hands-on work, direct crew supervision, and delivering a top quality service to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the landscaping crew, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship
- Ability to supervise and maintain mowing, trimming, blowing, and spraying of various properties
- Supervise and work with crew members to maintain safety and quality standards
- Mentor younger crew
- Communicate with management to schedule project timelines effectively
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
- Monitor and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of landscaping experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of commercial landscaping maintenance
- Strong leadership and communication
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physical labor
