The CT Technologist is responsible for operating multi-slice CT scanners to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, administer contrast media, and ensure patient care under the guidance of physicians. This position necessitates formal education in radiologic technology, relevant certifications, and ideally, experience in CT scanning. Working in a patient-centered healthcare setting, the technologist collaborates with a clinical team to provide exceptional imaging services.
Job Description
This role involves executing a range of technical and patient care tasks that require independent decision-making while utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Responsibilities include the use of power injectors and monitoring devices, initiating IVs, and administering IV, oral, or rectal contrast as directed by the physician on-site. The technologist is expected to deliver outstanding customer service, actively participate in a team environment, and maintain a positive demeanor. Additionally, the role includes continuing to apply radiology technology skills in diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy tasks.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- Within one year of hire:
- National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography certification or
- National Computed Tomography Technologist certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year in a CT Scan department preferred

The posted wage range reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position. The successful candidate's placement within this range will be influenced by relevant experience and other applicable factors. This range represents base pay; additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
