Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Winston-Salem, NC. This role requires expertise in delivering speech and language services, ensuring compliance with educational and clinical standards throughout the school calendar year.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working within K-12 school environments
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and educational regulations
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for speech and language disorders
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs and challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
