Job Overview


The Temporary Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting and finance team by managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This temporary role involves general ledger maintenance, expense report review, and variance analysis. The Temporary Staff Accountant will also assist with monthly close, accruals, and intercompany activities.

  • Key Responsibilities Approve vendor bills and set up new vendors in NetSuite (NS).
  • Perform bank reconciliations, including matching, identifying missing items, and recording entries.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., prepaids, accruals).
  • Run and submit amortization schedules.
  • Assist with AP accruals and Employees Benefits reconciliations.
  • Review and approve employee expense reports
  • Perform balance sheet and P&L variance analysis.
  • Support monthly close and other ad hoc projects as required.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with SOX and holding company internal control policies.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations within NetSuite, including, general ledger
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

• Assist in the preparation for external and internal audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.


  • QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
