Position: ALLIED-Certified Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Maintain and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Engage in performance evaluations and set personal improvement goals.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.

• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes.

• Utilize data and metrics to assess and improve work performance.

• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.

• Document patient information and procedures accurately and timely.

• Support the development of new protocols and best practices.

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of the Cath Lab environment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Must possess an ALLIED certification for Cath Lab Technicians.

• Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic Cath Lab procedures.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting Cath Lab equipment.

• Effective communication skills to explain procedures to patients.

• Ability to monitor and report patient vital signs accurately.

• Experience in documenting patient information accurately and promptly.

• Ability to utilize data to assess and improve personal performance.

• Willingness to collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient care.
